Obituary for Eula B Kroll

Eula B. Kroll, 95, of Lincoln died in a Lincoln hospital on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. She was born September 29, 1922 at Columbus, Ohio and grew up in Akron, Ohio. During WWII, she worked as a riveter on planes. On August 24, 1946, she married Leo R. Kroll in Omaha. She was a cook/waitress at several locations while they lived in Omaha before moving to a farm northwest of Tecumseh in 1963. They farmed and she worked at Campbells Soup Company in Tecumseh until 1975 when they retired and moved to Victoria, TX. In 1995, they moved back to Tecumseh and in 1998 they moved to Beatrice. Eula moved to Lincoln in 2003. She enjoyed gardening and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie (Greg) Maguire of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Marc (Debbie) Maguire of Utah, Jon Maguire of Lincoln; one great granddaughter, Nora Maguire of Utah; one sister, Betty Keel of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Grace Pickering Eichmiller; her husband Leo, who died on March 1, 2001; one son, Randy Kroll; one grandson, Michael Lacey; 1 granddaughter, Pat Kroll.

The family will greet friends starting at 1:30 P.M. with Funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice with Rev. Daryl Lauber officiating. The body will lie in state at the Fox Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Burial will be at the Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice. A memorial has been established to the Northeast Food Pantry in Lincoln. www.foxfuneralhome.net Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice is in charge of the arrangements.
