Our continued goal is to serve the needs of our families in a dignified and economical manner and to perpetuate the ideals upon which this business was founded.

THE TRADITIONAL SERVICE
The funeral service takes place at one of our facilities, church of your choice or other location. Visitation for family and friends is held at the funeral home and usually at the church preceding the services. A Pictorial DVD Tribute is available at no cost that may be shown during visitation and/or at the reception and is downloaded on our website. Families are also encouraged to bring pictures for a “Memory Board” and other selected items of remembrance to be displayed at the funeral home, church or other location.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES
Graveside services consist of a service at the cemetery with a casket or columbarium with cremains. Visitation for family and friends is held at the funeral home and not at the cemetery. A Pictorial DVD Tribute is available at no cost that may be shown during visitation or at the reception and is downloaded on our website. Families are also encouraged to bring pictures for a “Memory Board” and other selected items of remembrance to be displayed at the funeral home.

CREMATION
Cremation provides an alternative to the traditional funeral service.

Direct cremation is handled by the funeral home. It takes place only after a death certificate has been completed and signed by the doctor and a signed cremation authorization has been obtained from the next of kin. The County Attorney reviews the death certificate and cremation authorization and signs the permit for cremation. It includes no service or visitation.

Cremation with Memorial Service is held after the cremation takes place. This service can be held at one of our facilities, church of your choice or other location. A Pictorial DVD Tribute is available at no cost that may be shown during visitation or at the reception and is downloaded on our website. Families are also encouraged to bring pictures for a “Memory Board” and other selected items of remembrance to be displayed at the funeral home, church or other location.

Cremation with Viewing is similar to a Traditional Funeral Service. Following the traditional funeral service, the body is cremated and the family can either keep the cremains or inurn (bury) the cremains in a cemetery or columbarium (niche).

Urns are optional but are available for any of our Cremation Services. Please keep in mind also, that many cemeteries in our area now require urn vaults if inurnment (burial) of the cremains is desired.

PERSONALIZATION
We strive to assist families to achieve a unique and meaningful service for their loved one by offering several methods of personalization. Embroidered panels (customs orders are also available) and medallions for caskets, legacy series images and vinyl adhesions for vaults and engraved name plates for urns are possible options. A Pictorial DVD Tribute is available at no cost that may be shown during visitation or at the reception and is downloaded on our website. Families are also encouraged to bring pictures for a “Memory Board” and other selected items of remembrance to be displayed at the funeral home, church or other location.
